Kut: The Muslim World League (MWL) on Thursday offered its condolences and sympathy to the government of Iraq and its people over the victims of the shopping mall fire in the city of Kut. A statement by the MWL expressed its full solidarity with the Iraqi people in this painful tragedy, and wished a speedy recovery for those injured.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Iraqi Ministry of Interior had announced earlier today that the death toll of the fire incident that broke out last night had risen to 61.
