Kuwait city: Visiting Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh and his accompanying delegation met with Director-General and Chairman of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) Fawzi Al-Hunaif and Acting Director-General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Waleed Al-Bahar at the AFESD headquarters on Sunday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Vietnamese guests subsequently toured the AFESD building, receiving a briefing on the fund's development efforts and its financing activities for both public and private investment projects. The tour highlighted the ongoing commitment of AFESD to foster economic and social development in the region.
The Vietnamese delegation was accompanied by Advisor at His Highness the Prime Minister's Diwan and Head of the accompanying mission of honor, Sheikh Dr. Basel Hamoud Al-Sabah. Also present were Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaileh and Ambassador of Kuwait to Vietnam Yousef Al-Sabbagh, who participated in discussions on potential collaboration and investment opportunities.
