Washington: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss bilateral and regional issues. The meeting focused on ways to advance cooperation following the November meeting between US President Donald J. Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, said Principal Deputy Spokesperson of the State Dept. Tommy Pigott in a statement. According to Kuwait News Agency, the two sides discussed continued coordination in support of Middle Eastern security and stability, including in Gaza, Yemen, Sudan, and Syria. The emphasis was on strengthening ties to address ongoing challenges in these regions.
