US Sanctions On A Group Of Iraqi Banks

The US Treasury Department imposed Yesterday, Wednesday, sanctions on 14 Iraqi banks, as announced by the American Wall Street Journal in its daily bulletin.

According to the American newspaper, the sanctions affected the banks of the Islamic Advisor for Investment and Finance, Al-Qartas Islamic Investment and Finance, the Islamic Spectrum, Elaf Islamic Bank, Erbil Investment and Finance Bank, the International Islamic Bank, Trans-Iraq Bank, Mosul Bank for Development and Investment, and Al-Rajih Bank.

The US sanctions also included Sumer Commercial Bank, Trust International Islamic Bank, Ur Islamic Bank, Islamic World Bank for Investment and Finance, and Zain Iraq Islamic Bank for Investment and Finance.
