US President Visits Doha as Part of GCC Tour

Doha: US President Donald Trump arrived in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday during his official visit following a stop in Saudi Arabia, as part of his tour of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani welcomed President Trump at Hamad International Airport. The two leaders are scheduled to hold official discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing a range of regional and international topics of mutual interest.

President Trump's visit to the region began with his arrival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, marking his first official trip since assuming office. His itinerary included participation in the GCC-US Summit held in Riyadh on Wednesday. The summit was attended by several regional leaders, including His Highness Kuwait's Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
