He confirmed plans to meet with relevant parties in Davos, emphasizing Greenland's importance for national and global security. Trump maintained that the United States, due to its military strength, plays a crucial role in ensuring world peace.
Trump also criticized the United Kingdom's decision to transfer control of Diego Garcia, a strategic US military base, to Mauritius. He described this move as a sign of weakness, asserting that it could be exploited by countries like China and Russia. Trump reiterated the necessity for Greenland's acquisition as a national security measure and urged Denmark and its European allies to act accordingly.
