US President Joe Biden looks forward to welcoming NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg to the White House next week, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Wednesday.
In a statement, Jean-Pierre said the two would tackle the upcoming NATO Summit in Vilnius, Lithuania.
President Biden and Secretary General Stoltenberg will also review preparations for the Summit, including the work to further strengthen Allied deterrence and defense, build on the 2014 Wales Summit defense investment pledge, and deepen NATO’s partnerships.
They will also discuss Allies’ support for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s brutal war of aggression.
Lithuania will host a NATO Summit in Vilnius on 11-12 July 2023.
