US Envoy to Mideast Reveals Progress in Efforts to Cease Fighting.

BEIRUT: The US presidential envoy Amos Hokstein announced on Wednesday that he has made progress in his efforts to cease fighting in Lebanon. Hokstein’s remarks came after a meeting with Lebanon’s parliament speaker Nabih Berri. He described today’s session as building on the discussions held during their previous meeting, which took place following his arrival in Beirut.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the American envoy noted that further progress has been achieved and disclosed plans to travel to the occupied Palestine soon. Hokstein refrained from sharing additional details regarding his mission, which has been underway since mid-September and aims to halt ongoing hostilities.
