US Army Confirms Killing of Daesh Second-in-Command in Iraq Air Strike

Al-Anbar: The US Army has affirmed killing the second man in command of the notorious group, "Daesh" (the Islamic state), in an air strike in Al-Anbar, Iraq.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement on its X website that an accurate air strike killed Abdullah Makki (Abu Khadijah) along with a member of the group.

The slain Daesh chief was responsible for operations, logistics, and planning at the international level. He had also managed a large part of the funding throughout the globe.
