US and Latin American Nations Applaud Bolivia’s President-Elect

Kuwait city: The US and several Latin American nations have expressed their approval of the recent presidential election results in Bolivia, extending their congratulations to the newly elected leader.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Governments of Argentina, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Panama, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States of America have united in congratulating President-elect Rodrigo Paz Pereira on his successful election as President of Bolivia. The statement also recognized the dedication of the Bolivian people to democracy, as evidenced by their enthusiastic participation in the electoral process.

The statement highlighted that the Bolivian electorate made their decision known decisively on October 19, reflecting a desire for change and a new direction for the nation and the region. This shift aims to move away from previous economic challenges and mismanagement experienced over the past two decades.

The supporting countries have expressed their readiness to assist the incoming administration in stabilizing Bolivia's economy, enhancing international relations, and strengthening democratic institutions.
