University of Jeddah Launches Research and Innovation Forum, Unveils Achievements and New Strategy

Jeddah: The University of Jeddah today launched the Research and Innovation Forum, one of its flagship academic events aimed at showcasing research activity across the university and highlighting its scientific achievements through an innovation exhibition. The forum also marked the launch of the university's Research and Innovation Strategy for the 2026-2030 period.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event comes as part of the university's efforts to strengthen its leadership role in supporting innovation, empowering researchers, and developing a research ecosystem that contributes to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The forum featured a review of key research indicators and achievements recorded during the university's research journey.

The university announced that it has registered 14 patents in its name, supported more than 2,000 research projects, and published over 10,000 scientific papers in leading international bibliographic databases. The forum also highlighted a number of qualitative initiatives designed to support innovation and entrepreneurship.

The event was attended by a select group of academics, researchers, and stakeholders interested in scientific research, reflecting the university's commitment to fostering a dynamic and productive research environment.
