UNICEF agreement to enhance younger peers

– United Nations UNICEF and Kuwait’s incubating platform VO have signed a consensus Monday focused on enhancing and helping develop skills of the younger peers.

The coop with UNICEF is an inspiring step for the forthcoming generations to better serve and develop their capabilities and skills for what’s to come in the future, said Resident Representative of the UN Secretary General, Dr. Tareq Al-Sheikh.

It also aims to benefit them by associating them with other professionals and pave the way for a proper way to exchange experiences, he added.

VO Chairman Sheikha Ohoud Al-Sabah was also ardent on this agreement to say that the goal is to develop the abilities of the younger generation in order to play a part in a similar way by sharing their abilities across the world.

UNICEF Representative for the GCC, Eltayeb Adam, was very adamant saying that this will be a great opportunity for Kuwait’s younger generations and its future, and will serve as a long-term investment for the youth.

The agreement is signed to build the necessary steps on the course of 5-years through the exchange of skills and experiences with experts from around the world in addition to structuring a plan to empower the youth and prepare them for the international labor market.
