According to Kuwait News Agency, the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology has stated that the UK Biofoundry will receive £29.6 million (approximately $39.99 million) in public funding. This investment is intended to accelerate the development of advanced therapies. Minister for Science Lord Patrick Vallance highlighted the potential of mRNA technology to reprogram human cells to combat disease, emphasizing the project's importance in advancing the UK's life sciences sector.
