London: The UK-Saudi Investment and Partnership Summit, held at the Mansion House in London, focused on strengthening economic and financial relations between the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. The summit was co-chaired by UK Minister of State for Investment Baroness Poppy Gustafsson and Saudi Minister of Investment Khaled Al-Faleh. According to Kuwait News Agency, the event was organized by the Saudi British Joint Business Council (SBJBC-UK) and hosted by the City of London Corporation. It brought together the Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Alastair King, alongside more than 400 key policymakers and business leaders from both nations. The discussions at the summit centered on innovative investment strategies and the role of modern technology and investment capital in Saudi Arabia. The future of smart cities and sustainable infrastructure was also a key topic of interest. Both sides examined opportunities to enhance investment cooperation, focusing on strategic partnerships and shared national priorities under Saudi Vision 2030 and UK Invest 2035. The summit highlighted a mutual desire to expand public-private partnerships, mobilize capital for large-scale infrastructure and real estate projects, and support venture capital ecosystems. There was a particular emphasis on leveraging frontier technologies such as deep tech, space, and clean innovation.
