UAE’s U-23 Football Team Secures Victory Against Yemen in Gulf Cup Tournament

Kuwait city: The UAE U-23 football team triumphed over Yemen with a score of 1-3 in the second round of the U-23 Gulf Cup football tournament. This match was a crucial one for both teams in their quest for a place in the next stage of the competition.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the tournament features eight teams divided into two groups. Group A includes Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain, while Group B is composed of Iraq, the UAE, Oman, and Yemen. The matches have been competitive, with each team striving for dominance in their respective groups.

In other matches, Iraq defeated Oman with a score of 0-2, adding three points to their tally. This victory came after Yemen's initial success over Iraq with a 1-2 victory, and the UAE's win against Oman with 0-2 in the first round of the championship.

The tournament, which commenced last Thursday, will continue until the 16th of the current month, drawing football enthusiasts from across the region to witness the emerging talents and competitive spirit of these young athletes.
