UAE President and UK Prime Minister Discuss Bilateral Relations and Global Developments

Abu dhabi: UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed bilateral relations and several regional and international issues over the phone on Wednesday. During the phone conversation, they reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East and reaffirmed their support for efforts aimed at reaching a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and ensuring the sustained and sufficient delivery of humanitarian aid to its population.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the UAE president expressed appreciation to the United Kingdom for its recent recognition of the State of Palestine, highlighting that the bi-state solution remains the most viable path to achieving lasting stability in the region for the benefit of its countries and peoples.

Both leaders also explored ways to enhance UAE-UK relations across various fields in a manner that serves both countries' mutual interests and supports their shared development goals.
