Two Killed in Israeli Occupation Airstrike on Ain Al-Hilweh Camp in S. Lebanon

Lebanon: Lebanon announced Friday the killing of two people following an Israeli occupation airstrike targeting Ain Al-Hilweh refugee camp in the southern city of Sidon. Lebanon's Emergency Operations Center at the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported that Israeli warplanes struck the Hattin neighborhood inside Ain Al-Hilweh camp, resulting in an initial toll of two fatalities and several injuries.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the wounded were transported to hospitals to receive necessary medical treatment. Israeli occupation forces continue their daily violations of the ceasefire agreement announced on November 27, 2024, through repeated airstrikes and attacks on areas in southern Lebanon. They also maintain their occupation of several sites and border points within Lebanese territory, in what authorities described as a clear and ongoing breach of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
