Jerusalem: Two Israeli troops were killed on Thursday in a shooting incident at Al-Karama crossing on the border line between Jordan and Palestine.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the radio station of the Israeli occupation reported that the gunman was "neutralized," identifying him as a Jordanian citizen who delivered humanitarian aid to Gaza. The gunman had opened fire at point blank range and then used a knife in the assault on the Israeli troops.
The incident occurred when the gunman began shooting the moment he crossed to the Israeli-controlled side of the border aboard a truck pending search. In response, the occupation forces closed the passageway, sent back incoming trucks, and rushed military reinforcements to the scene.
