Antalya: Turkiye is set to host the 2025 World Coastal Rowing Championship in Antalya during the first week of November. Erhan Erturk, President of the Turkish Rowing Federation, made the announcement on Sunday, highlighting the significance of this global event for the country.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Erturk emphasized the importance of hosting the championship, particularly as coastal rowing has now been included in the Olympic Games. He acknowledged the competitive bidding process, noting that Turkiye faced strong competition from Italy, Spain, Poland, and Saudi Arabia.
