Turkiye intensifies attacks on PKK targets after Ankara attack

Turkiye's military launched air strikes on Thursday against some 59 targets belonging to Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) across northern Syria and Iraq, in response to an attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) that killed five people a day earlier. The attacks targeted with "accuracy" some 29 targets in Iraq and 18 in Syria, according to a defense ministry statement, a day after two persons opened fire on the TUSAS base, killing five people and leaving 22 others injured.
