Ankara: Turkiye's industrial sector achieved an unprecedented milestone in 2025, with annual exports reaching USD 194.8 billion, as revealed by official economic data released on Sunday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, figures from the Turkish Exporters Assembly indicated that Turkiye's total exports increased by 4.5 percent in 2025, totaling USD 273.4 billion. The data highlighted that six out of fifteen industrial sectors reported record export figures during the year.
Automotive exports led the growth, amounting to USD 41.5 billion. This was followed by the electricity and electronics sector, which recorded USD 17.7 billion in exports. Jewelry exports reached USD 7.9 billion, while the defense and aviation industries contributed USD 10 billion. The air-conditioning and cooling industries achieved USD 7.4 billion, and the shipbuilding, yachts, and related services sector posted USD 2.2 billion in exports.
