Turkish security sources revealed that the leader of the “ISIS” terrorist organization, Abu Al-Hussein Al-Qurashi, whose death was announced by the Turkish forces last night, blew himself up with an explosive belt he was wearing at the moment he was surrounded by a Turkish intelligence force in his house in the Afrin region, northern Syria.

Turkish sources stated in a press statement today: that Turkish intelligence has obtained information that the terrorist Abu al-Hussein al-Qurashi is in the Jenderes area of Afrin, northern Syria, and that he will change his residence soon, and that a special team of Turkish intelligence carried out a secret operation last Saturday, April 29, on the house that Al-Qurashi was there.

They explained that the house contained a camouflaged underground hideout, and that a call was made to Al-Qurashi to surrender himself, but no response was received. Then, the force charged with duty blew up the walls of the house’s garden, then the back doors and the side walls of the house were blown up.

It stated that the terrorist Abu Al-Hussein Al-Qurashi blew himself up with an explosive belt he was wearing after realizing that he would be arrested.

The sources noted that none of the elements of the team assigned to the duty were harmed, and that the operation took 4 hours.

It is noteworthy that Al-Quraishi joined the ranks of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in 2013, and rose to high positions within a short period.

He was declared a “caliph” on November 30, 2022, following the killing of his predecessor, the former leader of the organization, Abu al-Hassan al-Qurashi./End
