Turkish security forces arrested 116 irregular migrants in the northwestern province of Edirne.
Anadolu Agency reported security sources as saying that the country’s border guards and gendarmerie forces carried out operations against groups of people trying to illegally leave the country.
The operations resulted in the arrest of 116 irregular migrants, and legal actions were taken against them, it added.
