Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan engaged in discussions with Abdelfattah al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan's Sovereignty Council, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing regional and international topics of mutual interest.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the talks were held on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum. The Turkish Presidency's Communications Directorate released a statement highlighting that the discussions centered around the growing cooperation between Turkey and Sudan. President Erdogan conveyed his satisfaction with the ongoing development of relations between the two nations.
Furthermore, Erdogan emphasized Turkey's commitment to supporting Sudan in its reconstruction efforts and in normalizing the situation following the resolution of conflicts in the region.
