Turkish President and Armenian Prime Minister Discuss Yerevan-Baku Peace Agreement

Kuwait city: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday to discuss the peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

According to Kuwait News Agency, during the call, Erdogan congratulated Pashinyan on the peace agreement recently concluded between Yerevan and Baku. The Turkish President's media office shared this development on social media platform X. Erdogan emphasized the importance of Armenia and Azerbaijan's commitment to peace, highlighting it as crucial for regional stability and urging that it be transformed into tangible actions.

Erdogan also mentioned that Turkiye and Armenia are progressing with their technical discussions aimed at normalizing relations, with efforts to continue in this direction. The peace deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia was signed at the White House on Friday, marking the end of a 35-year conflict between the two nations.
