Washington: US President Donald Trump stated on Friday that he is contemplating a limited military strike against Iran if the nation does not agree to a deal with the United States to limit its nuclear program. The president made this statement during a conversation with reporters, expressing his consideration of military action as a means to pressure Iran into negotiations.
According to Kuwait News Agency, President Trump mentioned that a timeframe of 10 to 15 days would be sufficient for Iran to reach a deal with Washington. He emphasized the urgency of the situation, saying, "We're going to make a deal or get a deal one way or the other." Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi noted that there had been "good progress" during the second round of Oman-mediated indirect talks in Geneva with the United States, describing the recent discussions as having a more "constructive atmosphere" compared to previous sessions.
