Kuwait city: Three of Indonesia's volcanoes, including the twin volcanoes of Lewotobi on the southeastern part of Flores Island and Mount Merapi in Java, have re-erupted, leading to evacuations and flight cancellations.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the eruptions involved the Lewotobi Laki Laki and Lewotobi Perempuan volcanoes, which continue to emit columns of lava and ash. Additionally, Mount Merapi, Indonesia's most active volcano located near Yogyakarta in Java, erupted again, projecting lava and ash to a height of 2,284 meters. The re-eruptions have necessitated safety measures, including evacuations of nearby residents and the suspension of flights in affected areas.
