Qalqilya: Three Jewish settlers were killed and eight others injured in a shooting near Qalqilya City in northwestern West Bank on Monday, according to Israeli occupation media reports. The incident has heightened tensions in the region as the attackers reportedly fled the scene after targeting a bus carrying settlers.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Palestinian local sources and eyewitnesses have reported that Israeli occupying forces have responded by sealing off the entrance to Nablus City. A large contingent of occupying soldiers has been deployed in the area, allegedly to search for the perpetrators of the attack.
The violence is part of an escalating conflict in the region. Palestinian health authorities report that at least 835 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli occupation fire in the West Bank since the outbreak of the war in Gaza. The ongoing hostilities have further strained the already volatile situation in the area.
