The Youth Football Team Leaves For The Emirates

The delegation of the youth football team left this Thursday morning via Baghdad International Airport, heading to Dubai, UAE, at the invitation of the Emirati side to play two friendly matches against the host team on the 14th and 17th of this month.

The managing director of the youth team, Nadeem Karim, said: “These two matches come after the invitation that the Iraqi Federation received from its Emirati counterpart to play two friendly matches at the youth level, in preparation for the two teams for the upcoming matches.”

Karim added: “We hope that these two matches will be useful for the youth team, which, with its new members, will play its first match with one of the teams chosen after the tests conducted by the training staff for more than two months for about (200) players from inside and outside Iraq.”
