The political office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan confirmed, today, Saturday, that the priority of this stage must be the salaries and livelihood of citizens in the Kurdistan region.
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan website stated that the political office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan met today, Saturday, in Debashan, under the supervision of Bavel Jalal Talabani, Head of the Patriotic Union.
According to the same source, the meeting discussed in detail the latest developments in Kurdistan, Iraq and the region, especially the issue of salaries and living conditions for the citizens of Kurdistan, and the latest efforts of the delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government in its visit to Baghdad and its meetings with the federal government and political parties.
The Political Bureau stopped at this issue, stressing that the priority of this stage must be the salaries and livelihood of citizens, and it is necessary that the role and efforts of the National Union in the regional government and Baghdad be focused in this direction.
In another aspect of the meeting, according to the website, the visit of the National Union delegation headed by Bavel Talabani to the Islamic Republic of Iran was discussed, where the meeting described that visit and the regional and international relations of the National Union as positive and constructive, in the interest of the Kurdistan region and Iraq.
The Political Bureau meeting also discussed the latest preparations for holding the fifth conference of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, stressing the approval of the procedures followed to hold a successful federal conference on 9/27/2023.
