The President Visits Karbala And Stresses The Need To Take Steps To Provide All Means Of Welfare For Its Residents

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed today, Saturday, the need to take the right steps to provide all means of welfare for the people of Karbala.

The Presidency’s media office said in a statement, “Today, the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, paid a visit to the holy governorate of Karbala to inspect the conditions of the city and the conditions of its residents, and to see the procedures and preparations used to receive the visitors of Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and to secure its ceremonies.”

The statement added, “Governor Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi and a number of government officials and military leaders in the province received the president,” noting that “the president held a meeting during which he listened to a detailed explanation given by the governor on the service and security realities of the city, and the progress of implementing a visit Arbaeen plan of Imam Hussein was also discussed.

During the meeting, the president expressed his pleasure to visit the holy city of Karbala, stressing that “the holy city of Karbala carries an eternal book of sacrifice and heroism, and it includes the shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH).”

He stressed, “The interest in preserving and upgrading the service and security realities, identifying their needs, and overcoming obstacles that impede the implementation of service projects is everyone’s duty,” pointing to “the need to take the right steps to provide all means of welfare for its residents.”/ End
