The Popular Mobilization Commission announced the implementation of a raid and search operation in the desert, west of Anbar Governorate.
It said in a statement that “a force from the 18th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces launched a raid and search operation in the desert, west of Anbar Province.”
It added, “The operation aims to secure and enhance security in the areas within the sector of responsibility on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr.”
It explained, “The Popular Mobilization Forces continue their operations in anticipation of any terrorist attacks, and search for hideouts for terrorists to take as a haven.”
