The occupation extends the detention of journalist Rasha Harzallah

Nablus – Ma’an – The Israeli occupation military court in Salem extended, on Monday, the detention of Rasha Harzallah, a journalist colleague at the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA), for two weeks.

The Prisoner’s Club stated that a new session was held today for our colleague Harzallah in the occupation court in Salem, during which her detention was extended until 6/24/2024.

The occupation intelligence summoned our colleague Harzallah on the second of this month for investigation in the ‘Huwara’ prison for what he claims was incitement, and her detention was extended at that time for 72 hours, and then for five days, and she was transferred to the ‘Damoun’ prison, where the majority of Female captives.

Our colleague Harzallah, according to a statement by the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority, is among about (80) journalists who have been subjected to arrest since the beginning of the genocide war in Gaza, as the occupation continued to detain 49 of them, including six female journ
alists (Ikhlas Sawalha, Rula Hassanein, and Bushra). Al-Taweel, Asmaa Aharish, Rasha Harzallah, and Amal Shujaia, a journalism student at Birzeit University.
