The Nineveh Antiquities Inspectorate announces the completion of the reconstruction of Al-Tetanji House and the Qara Saray archaeological site in Old Mosul

The Nineveh Antiquities and Heritage Inspectorate announced the completion of the reconstruction of the archaeological house of Al-Tetanji, along with 13 ancient houses in Old Mosul, with the same heritage materials and specifications, after it was destroyed by the terrorist gangs of ISIS.

Director of Nineveh Antiquities, Khair al-Din al-Juhaishi, said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that “the engineering teams in the Mosul Municipality Directorate, along with a selection of excavation teams, have completed the reconstruction of the Tetanji House, the largest and oldest archaeological heritage house in Old Mosul, along with a number of archaeological houses, as well as the Qara Saray site.” “Indicating that” the ancient houses and the site of Qara Saray have resumed to receive Arab, foreign and Iraqi tourists inside Mosul.
