The National Security Chancellory And Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Organize A Specialized Workshop On Developing Media Skills To Strengthen The Institutional Image

The National Security Chancellory, in coordination with the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, organized a specialized workshop on (development of media skills to strengthen the institutional image), with the participation of media professionals from the security services.

The specialized workshop, which was held at Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies in the National Security Chancellory, aimed to develop news writing skills and enhance media skills to strengthen the institutional image of the participants from the media of the security services.

During the inauguration of the specialized workshop, Shatha Kadhim from the Social Studies Department at Al-Nahrain Center stressed “the development of skills in writing official statements and publishing to enhance the institutional media image.”

Heba Hussein, a member of the Monitoring Committee of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, explained, during her lecture at the workshop, the concept of communication and the process of media and media communication, stressing at the same time the importance of developing skills in writing and drafting press releases, preparing and sending press releases, and writing news and media headlines, and learning media writing skills and arts.

She pointed out: “The success of journalistic or media (content) depends primarily on the sender and the analysis of the audience responding to it, and then its delivery strategies to achieve its goal and purpose.”

During the specialized workshop, objective and professional discussions took place regarding the creation of effective and influential news content.

It is noteworthy that the lecturer in psychological operations trained in journalistic safety at the International Federation of Journalists, had previously lectured in a number of professional specialized workshops and courses in the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, the National Security Chancellory, the Ministry of Defense, Baghdad Operations Command, the Counter-Terrorism Agency, the Integrity Commission, and Al-Mustansiriya university.
