The Ministry of Interior carries out a search for unlicensed weapons in Baghdad

The Ministry of Interior announced today, Thursday, the implementation of searches for unlicensed weapons in the areas of Al-Wahda district, Al-Ihsan Complex, and Diyala Bridge in the capital, Baghdad.

A statement by the Ministry stated, “As part of the ongoing security efforts of the federal police units aimed at restricting weapons to the state in order to ensure the security and safety of citizens, the units of the First Division of the Federal Police carried out searches for unlicensed weapons in the areas of (Al-Wahda district, Al-Ihsan complex, Diyala Bridge).”

The statement added, “The inspection resulted in the finding of 21 different types of rifles, two pistols, 6 rifle stores, and 15 Kalashnikov rifle rounds, and all materials were seized and dealt with properly.”/ End
