Baghdad Intelligence Agency detachments in Nineveh Governorate arrested seven terrorists belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs.
The Agency stated in a statement that, based on accurate intelligence information related to the presence of seven people wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the fight against terrorism, in various areas in Nineveh Governorate, an intelligence work team was formed to collect information and conduct the necessary investigations, and with a precise ambush, seven defendants were arrested.
It added, during the investigation with the accused, they explicitly admitted to belonging to ISIS gangs within the so-called (Diwan Al-Jund, Al-Furqan Division, Jaish Al-Usra, Al-Kawasir Division, Artillery Battalion, and Real Estate Office ) and they were receiving sums of money in exchange for their membership in ISIS terrorist gangs. Their statements were recorded and referred to the relevant authorities in preparation to appear before the judiciary to receive their just punishment.
