The Foreign Minister and his Dutch counterpart discuss the efforts made to stop the war on Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid to it.

Baghdad – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, discussed today, in a phone call he received from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Hanke Brauns-Sloot, the efforts made to stop the war on Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid to the Strip.

The Minister indicated during the call, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that it is necessary to stop the war on Gaza, and to put pressure on the occupation government to open the crossings and deliver humanitarian aid to citizens in the Strip.

He stressed that the security situation in Iraq is good, and that the Iraqi government has taken the necessary steps to prevent disruption to Iraqi internal security.

For her part, the Dutch Minister touched on the security situation in Iraq, referring to the recent attacks on some sites inside Iraq.

According to the statement, the two sides expressed their concern about the continuation of the war and the expansion of the battlefields to other regions. /End
