The Azerbaijani Ambassador To Iraq Calls For Increasing Trade Exchange Between The Two Countries

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nasir Mammadov, announced today, Wednesday, the invitation to businessmen and investors from the two countries in order to increase the level of trade exchange between Iraq and Azerbaijan to reach 200 million dollars.

The ambassador indicated in a statement that it is possible to achieve this within a year and a half or two years, and he stated that "I would like to take this opportunity to invite Iraqi investors to actively participate in the projects implemented in Azerbaijan and to learn about the production capabilities in Azerbaijan for the possibility of exporting them to the Iraqi market."

He stressed that "there is also great potential for developing cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Iraq."

It is noteworthy that both countries have a rich history, culture and customs. And culture is the largest bridge between countries and peoples, and for this reason, there is a need to expand cooperation in the cultural field as well.
