The Basra police arrested a gang that practiced robbery in Safwan district, west of the governorate.
The media of the Basra Police Command stated in a statement, “the detachments of the Safwan Police Department were able to arrest members of a gang that practiced robbery in Safwan.
It added that the gang members confessed during the investigation to carrying out robbery operations, and all legal measures were taken against them and referred to the judiciary./ End
