Port Sudan: Drones struck a military airbase and surrounding installations in the city of Port Sudan, said the Sudanese Army on Sunday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Nabeel Abdullah, Sudanese Army spokesman, stated in a press release that Rapid Support Forces launched several drone attacks on the base, with air defense forces successfully downing several aircraft. He confirmed that the incident did not result in any casualties.
This marks the first attack on the temporary capital located in the far east of Sudan. The Rapid Support Forces have increased drone attacks on Sudanese military locations and vital facilities under the protection and supervision of the Sudanese army.
