Social and Justice Ministries Discuss Cooperation on Family and Child Protection Program

Kuwait city: Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah and Minister of Justice Nasser Al-Sumait held discussions on Thursday to explore cooperative efforts in the government program for family and child protection. This initiative aligns with the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, aiming to enhance collaboration among relevant authorities.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting highlighted the significance of coordination and exchange of views to bolster family support, child protection, social stability, and the quality of services offered. Both ministers underscored the need for a collective approach to address these critical issues, emphasizing the role of institutional work in achieving these goals.

Representatives from various public benefit associations focusing on family, women, and children were present at the meeting. The discussions stressed the importance of involving these groups in planning processes and leveraging their expertise to enrich the program's impact and effectiveness.
