Social Affairs Minister Highlights National Debt Relief Campaign’s Success and Unity

Kuwait City: Minister of Social Affairs and Minister of State for Family and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila affirmed Tuesday that the National Debt Relief Campaign marked a historic milestone reflecting Kuwait's humanitarian image.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Huwaila stated that the campaign, upon its conclusion, garnered total donations amounting to KD 13,726,706.31, equivalent to approximately USD 44,772 million, with 21,851 donors participating.

Al-Huwaila expressed deep gratitude and pride in the extensive participation from individuals, institutions, and charitable organizations. She noted that this involvement embodied the wise directives of the political leadership and contributed significantly to achieving the noble objectives of the initiative.

She emphasized that the campaign's success underscores Kuwait's positive humanitarian reputation, showcasing the nation's commitment to unity and support for those in need. The initiative has been seen as a testament to the collective effort and dedication of the Kuwaiti community.
