Nouakchott: A delegation of Shura Council members from the Saudi-Mauritanian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, led by Dr. Fahd Al-Takhaifi, met with Mohamed Bamba Meguett, the Speaker of the Mauritanian National Assembly, at the assembly's headquarters during an official visit to Mauritania.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing and enhancing relations between Saudi Arabia and Mauritania, with an emphasis on parliamentary cooperation. Both parties explored topics of mutual interest and discussed potential areas for collaboration.
The delegation also engaged with members of the counterpart parliamentary friendship committee at the Mauritanian National Assembly. Discussions centered around strengthening parliamentary and legislative ties, aiming to foster collaboration that benefits both nations and their citizens.
