Shura Chairman praises Bahrain’s achievement in 19th Asian Games

Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on Bahrain’s achievement in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

Bahrain won several golden, silver, and bronze medals.

Al Saleh noted that this achievement affirms the keenness of HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to support the youth and promote their capabilities to actively participate in the comprehensive development process and highlight Bahrain’s position internationally.

He also congratulated His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).

Al Saleh praised the efforts made by HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Sheikh Khalid in motivating, qualifying, and developing the skills of the nation’s athletes and youth within the Bahrain team, to obtain more achievements in various sporting events.
