Sharurah Winter Festival Draws Strong Public Engagement

Sharurah: The eighth edition of the Sharurah Winter Festival witnessed a wide range of activities and strong public engagement, attracting more than 2,000 visitors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the festival featured events and competitions, including children's theater performances, electronic games, horse and camel riding lessons, as well as activities introducing visitors to cultural heritage.

Executive Director of the festival Mohammed Al-Kathiri said these activities were designed to create excitement and enjoyment for visitors and participants, while also offering opportunities to learn new skills. He emphasized the festival's role in reviving traditional heritage and introducing younger generations to the culture and customs of their ancestors. He also added that the festival attracted visitors from within the region and beyond, thanks to the favorable winter tourism climate in the governorate, along with the scale and diversity of activities offered.
