Seven trucks carrying relief supplies arrive to the quake-affected

Chargé d’affaires at the Jordanian Embassy in Damascus Dr. Basil al-Kayed, said Thursday that a new convoy, consisting of 7 trucks, loaded with medical, relief and humanitarian materials provided by the Jordanian Kingdom arrived via Nassib border crossing.

In a press statement, al-Kayed pointed out that the Jordanian assistance continue to arrive to the brothers in Syria, adding that the new shipment includes a number of medical, relief and humanitarian materials. He stressed that the new aid includes a fully integrated kidney unit with all its medical equipment.

The Jordanian diplomat pointed out that the number of the aid shipments arrived Syria via the land bridge are estimated at 138 ones so far, asserting that they carried hundreds of tons of medical and humanitarian supplies. He stressed that they are under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, of Jordan.
