Manama: Assistant Foreign Minister for Human Rights Affairs Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher Ibrahim Duaij Al-Sabah praised on Tuesday the depth of Kuwaiti-Bahraini relations and the importance of strengthening them in all fields. Sheikha Jawaher made these remarks after visiting Bahrain's Women's Police Directorate during her participation in the Global Women Economic Forum and Exhibition, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikha Jawaher met with General Director Maj. Gen. Mona Abdurrahim and was briefed on the experience of Bahraini women in the field of police work. Bahrain is recognized as one of the pioneering Arab countries to establish women's police forces.
Sheikha Jawaher Al-Sabah expressed admiration for Bahrain's achievements in women empowerment and efforts toward gender equality, extending her wishes for Bahrain's continued progress and success across all domains.
The meeting also focused on the significance of empowering women and enhancing their roles in decision-making positions. Additionally, both parties discussed the importance of exchanging experiences and expertise in various fields between Kuwait and Bahrain, aiming for greater coordination and cooperation.
