Senegalese President Visits Kuwait for Official Discussions

Kuwait city: President of the Republic of Senegal Bassirou Diomaye Faye, accompanied by an official delegation, arrived in Kuwait on an official visit.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations and explore areas of mutual cooperation.

In another development, Kuwaiti Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah engaged in discussions with his Bahraini counterpart, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. The talks centered on security issues of mutual interest and strategies to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Minister of Oil Tareq Al-Roumi emphasized the importance of digital transformation in the oil sector. He stated that digital transformation is crucial for improving efficiency, service quality, and institutional integration.

In economic news from Istanbul, the President of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), Nail Olpak, reported that trade exchange between Turkiye and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries has reached approximately USD 45 billion over the past three years.
