The security services in Basra seized a stolen vehicle and arrested its thief.
The media of the Basra Police Command stated in a statement, “The police detachments in the checkpoint of the martyr Brigadier General Hassan Galubb Mard (Al-Sidra), affiliated to the Checkpoints and External Roads Department, seized a stolen vehicle that tried to pass through the checkpoint, as the vehicle’s data was checked within the required wheelbase in the digital cameras operating within the checkpoint.” It turns out that it is required because there is a sign of theft of the vehicle.
It added, “The necessary measures were taken with the car and its thief, and they were handed over to the competent center to take the necessary legal measures in accordance with the law.”
